Welcome to Devon & Exmoor

The second (by a whisker) most popular holiday destination in England.

Devon has been described as the most beautiful county in England. A land of rich pastures: green fields, rivers and woodland encompassing the two National Parks: Dartmoor and Exmoor, and a coastline diverse in its ruggedness, and endless charm. At times the landscape is so beautiful one may wonder what the wild hedgerows and lush meadows were like before the arrival of carbon emissions and pesticides.

And yet, Devon is now England¹s greenest county. The County Council is championing sustainable tourism to combat global warning and there are more green businesses and organic producers than anywhere in the UK. This is all good news if you enjoy a fine repast. We have included the best organic restaurants and hotels which naturally serve up local produce. So come and enjoy this bountiful and beautiful county.

But, first you will need somewhere to stay, and this is where we can help you. It is important that you find the accommodation that suits your budget, style and expectations. We have worked hard to select a wide range of options – all of which are the best of the best. And, once you have chosen your B & B or hotel – be it in the hustle and bustle or away from the hordes – let us help you find places to eat and ways to pass the hours enjoyably.  If you need a guidebook or map-guide, we can also help.

But, before you decide to visit Devon let us show you a little of what this green county has to offer…sit back and enjoy The Devon Experience.
